Ingredients
- 3 cups (6 sticks) of butter
- 1/2 cup freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 5 medium garlic cloves, minced
- 4 bay leaves, crushed
- 4 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary or 11/4 teaspoon dried crumbled rosemary
- 1 tablespoon Hungarian sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh basil, or 1 teaspoon dried crumbled basil
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano, or 1 teaspoon dried crumbled oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 6 pounds shrimp (shells on) deveined.
Preparation
Step 1
Melt the butter
Add the lemon and garlic
Mix all the spices in
Add shrimp and cook until just pink.
