Red Rhubarb Crunch

Ingredients

  • Mixture:
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 5 cups rhubarb
  • 1 3-oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and press 2/3 of mixture in greased 9" pan. Layer 5 cups of cut up rhubarb. Sprinkle 1 3 oz. package of strawberry gelatin over top.

Mix together 3/4 cup milk, 1 egg and 1 cup sugar. Pour over top of rhubarb and gelatin. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 55 minutes.
