Ingredients
- 4 Cups Vinegar
- 8 Cups Sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Cinnamon Stick
- 4 Tbsp. Whole Cloves
- 1 Watermelon
- Dash of Salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cut and peel the rind. Cover with water and cook until tender. Drain: Add a bag with the spices tied in it and the vinegar and the sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer
1 hour. Put in canning jars. Put the jars in a canner and cover with water. Boil 15 minutes for pints and 20 minutes for quarts.
