Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can Progresso Recipe Starters Creamy Roasted Garlic Cooking Sauce
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- Rice
Preparation
Step 1
Between pieces of plastic wrap or waxed paper, place each chicken breast smooth side down. Gently pound with flat side of meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/2-inch thick.
Mix flour with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper in a shallow dish. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, coating all sides. In a 10-inch skillet, heat 2 Tbsp vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in oil 6-8 minutes or until brown, turning once.
In a small bowl, mix cooking sauce and lemon juice. Pour sauce mixture over chicken. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5-10 minutes or until juice of chicken runs clear when center of thickest part is cut (heat to at least 165 F). Serve with rice.
