Ingredients
- 10 granny smith apples
- 3 limes
- 8 oz butter
- sugar, to taste
- 6 oz brown sugar
- 4 oz oatmeal
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Peel, core and dice apples. Add juice and zest of limes. Saute with pat of butter. Add in sugar to taste. Cook 5-8 minutes until apples are soft. Remove from heat and pat into a round mold.
To make crisp, mix butter, brown sugar, oatmeal, and chopped hazelnuts ona cookie sheet. Toast in oven until golden brown. Let cool, then sprinkle over apples, serve with vanilla ice cream.
