Banana pudding cake

Ingredients

  • One box yellow cake mix
  • One box Nilla wafers
  • 1 box each of banana cream and vanilla pudding mix.
  • 4 bananas
  • Cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Make a yellow box cake mix according to directions. Bake in a 9 x 13" pan. When the cake comes out of the oven poke holes in it all over with the end of a wooden spoon.
Make pudding according to package directions. Spread over cake gently, making sure it fills the holes. Add a layer of Nila wafers over the pudding making sure to cover the entire top of the cake. Let this rest a while covered with saran wrap and cool in the refrigerator.
Slice bananas and layer over the top of the cake. Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle a few crushed vanilla wafers on top.
