Ingredients
- Firm, under-ripe pears
- Cinnamon-sugar mix (for cinnamon spiced pears)
- OR-
- Maple syrup (for maple-glazed pears)
Preparation
Step 1
Very thinly slice pears with a chef's knife and place in a single layer on parchment-lined baking sheets. Liberally sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar OR generously brush tops with maple syrup, depending on which kind of seasoning you chose.
Bake in a preheated 225 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs. Flip slices and continue baking until darkened slightly and edges have curled (they should still be pliable), 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. Transfer to a wire rack and let stand until cool and crisp. Store at room temp in an airtight container up to 1 week.
