Baked macaroni and cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1-1/4 cups milk
  • 8 oz grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayo

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375'.
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Add milk and cook, stirring until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat and add cheese. Fold in mayo. Add macaroni and mix thoroughly. Transfer to a 2 qt baking dish and bake in oven for 30 min, until hot and bubbly.
