Ingredients
- 4 T butter, room temp
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped onions
- 1 c finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 T chopped parsley
- 1 pkg hot roll mix
- 1 c hot water
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 t cracked papper
- 3/4 t poppy seeds
Preparation
Step 1
375 deg. Melt 2 T butter; add onions and cook about 4 mins. Reduce heat and cook until golden (5 mins). Cool 20 mins. Stir in cheese and parsley. Stir together hot roll mix, yeast packet, hot water, 1 egg, pepper and remaining butter. Knead until smooth; cover let rest 5 mins. Coat large pan with spray. Cover with plastic wrap. Cut dough int 3 strips; Spread with onion; brush edge with water; roll up; seal. Braid; brush w/egg. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
