Sea Shells Con Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Mueller Sea Shells
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets, uncooked
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced OR 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1 cup chicken OR vegetable broth
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions, adding broccoli the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain, cover and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet; add garlic, basil, rosemary and sun dried tomatoes. Cook 1 minute.

Add wine and reduce by 1/2. Add broth.

Toss in broccoli and shells; stir until heated through.

Add cheese and season to taste with salt and pepper.
