Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 (150z each) cans garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • whole wheat pita bread or raw vegetables

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except pita or vegetables in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth, scraping sides of bowl as necessaary. If a thinner dip is disired, add more water. Serve with pita bread or vegetables.
