Ingredients
- 6 Med green peppers
- 1 can heavy tomato puree
- 1 tbl salt
- 2 tbl sugar
- 2 tbl worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbl worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tbl pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Combine beef,rice,eggs,worcestershire,salt and pepper to make stuffing
mixture.
Oven to 350. remove seeds and membrane. Precook in boiling salted water for
5 mins, drain.
Combine tomato puree with salt,sugar,worcestershire and water.
Stuff peppers with mixture and put into pan standing upright.
pour sauce around peppers and bake uncovered for 25 mins at 350.
