    can heavy tomato puree

    tbl salt

    tbl sugar

    tbl worcestershire sauce

    cup water

    lbs ground beef

  • 1

    cup cooked rice

  • 2

    eggs

  • 2

    tbl worcestershire sauce

  • 2

    tsp salt

  • 1/4

    tbl pepper

Directions

Combine beef,rice,eggs,worcestershire,salt and pepper to make stuffing mixture. Oven to 350. remove seeds and membrane. Precook in boiling salted water for 5 mins, drain. Combine tomato puree with salt,sugar,worcestershire and water. Stuff peppers with mixture and put into pan standing upright. pour sauce around peppers and bake uncovered for 25 mins at 350.
