Sausage Stuffing

Normally used with turkey or Cornish game hen.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups cube stuffing mix
  • 2 apples
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1 lb sausage meat (Jones)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage meat, drain and pat dry.
Dice apples coarsely
Heat water and add butter till it melts.
Add to stuffing mix along with sausage meat, and diced apples.

Toss lightly, then put into greased dish.

Bake at 350 deg for 1 hr
