Strawberry Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes of strawberry jello
  • 2 cups of boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 TBS lemon juice
  • 1 carton of cool whip
  • 1 pint frozen strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 large angel food cake

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve jello in boiling water.
Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
Add frozen fruit and lemon juice.
Cool in fridge.
Just before it thickens add cool whip. Mix well.
Take 1/2 of cake and tear it up and put in 9x13.
Add 1/2 of fruit mixture.
Add rest of cake then the rest of fruit mixture.
Chill 12-24 hrs.
