Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 5 c. thinly-sliced apples
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 1 t. lemon juice
- 2 T. butter
- 2 pie crusts
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, spices, salt, and lemon juice. Add apples, toss to mix.
Line bottom of pie plate with crust.
Add 1/2 apple mixture.
Dot with cut butter.
Add remaining apples and top crust.
Bake 50-60 minutes until apples are done when tested with fork
