Red cabbage

Ingredients

  • 6 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1 1/2 cups thin sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup each water anbd cider vinegar
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • 1/4 cus red currant jelly
  • 3/4 dried tsp thyme and sage

Preparation

Step 1

Put 2 T oil in pot and add rest of ingredients stir and bring to a boil, turn down heat and simmer for 15 minutes till cabbage is tender.
Serve with chops or whatever.
