Ingredients
- 1 -Package Wonton
- 3-4 Yukon Potatoes
- 1/2 Cup Cheddar (CABOT Sharp) Cheese or Farmer Cheese
- 1/2 small yellow onion - diced
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 3-5 Slices of bacon
Preparation
Step 1
Boil potatoes in Salted pan
Smash and let rest to cool down
Saute onions in butter and oil until translucent
Shred the cheese
Fry or bake the bacon
Mix potatoes, onions, bacon and cheese
If preparing day before, Cover and let rest
Place beaten egg in small dish
Place a floured parchment paper on counter/board
Lay down 4 wontons
Spread egg around the edge
Fill with Potatoes
Close
Boil in salted water for 2 minutes
Place in buttered pan to brown
Serve warm
