Ingredients
- 1 cup plain reduced-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1 1/2 TBSP grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 TBSP ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground red pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 TBSP canola oil
Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well. Scrape the yogurt mixture into a large ziploc bag. Add the chicken to the bag and seal. Marinate in fridge for 2 hrs. Remove chicken from the bag and discard the marinade. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken evenly with the salt.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Grill chicken 6 minutes on each side or til done.
