Ingredients

    cup plain reduced-fat Greek yogurt

  • 1/4

    cup grated onion

  • 1 1/2

    TBSP grated peeled fresh ginger

  • 1

    TBSP ground cumin

  • 1

    tsp ground red pepper

  • 1/2

    tsp ground turmeric

  • 5

    garlic cloves, minced

  • 8

    skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 1/2

    tsp kosher salt

  • 1

    TBSP canola oil

Directions

Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well. Scrape the yogurt mixture into a large ziploc bag. Add the chicken to the bag and seal. Marinate in fridge for 2 hrs. Remove chicken from the bag and discard the marinade. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken evenly with the salt. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken 6 minutes on each side or til done.
