Aunt Jean's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 cans tomato juice (large)
  • 6 cans tomato puree (large)
  • 1 large tomato paste
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 6 large cloves garlic (split)
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp. oregano
  • 2 large onions (pureed in food processor)

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions & garlic in 1 cup oil. Combine all other ingredients in a large pot. Then add onions & garlic. Cook for about 6 hours or until the thickness is to your liking.

If adding meat: brown sausage & add after 2 hrs & meatballs 2 hrs before the sauce is done.
