Small chocolate yummy pecan and caramel candies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (8oz.) small pecan halves
  • 1 (14oz.) package caramels (about 4 dozen)
  • 4 milk chocolate bars

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange groups of three pecan halves two inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Top each group with one caramel. Bake at 300 for 7 minutes, or until caramels are softened. Flatten caramels with buttered spatula. While still warm; top each turtle with one milk chocolate square. Spread the chocolate when melted. Placing in refrigerator will hasten the firming of the chocolate. Remove from the cookie sheet.

Note: Rather than greasing the cookie sheet, it could be covered with aluminum foil.
