Crab Cakes (Dwight & Bobbie Gail)

Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayo (Hellmann's)
  • 2 T. Dijon Mustard
  • 2 t. Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/8 t. cayenne pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 pounds jumbo lump crab meat
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 splash worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Mix mayo, Old Bay Seasoning, cayenne pepper, bell pepper, green onion, worcestershire sauce and egg yolks. Gently stir in crab. Form into 10 crab cakes adding bread crumbs to coat. Fry in wesson oil turning often until crispy. I fried mine in real butter.
