Ingredients
- 1 packet of filo pastry
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) melted butter
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 tbsp. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Unroll filo pastry and cover with a damp cloth while working.
2. Brush one sheet with butter, place another sheet on top and brush it with butter. Repeat this procedure until you have 8 layers.
3. Cut into 4 squares or rectangles.
4. Peel and core apples, slice very thinly and layer slices on pastry.
5. Dot with raspberries (or other berries), brush with butter, scatter with sugar and bake on a non stick tray at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, until golden.
6. Serve with dollops of Devon cream, lightly whipped cream or small scoops of quality vanilla ice cream.
