Midwest Broccoli Salad

This is a delicious, easy recipe that has been a hit whenever I take it to a gathering. Broccoli should be cut into small florets.

Ingredients
- 8 cups raw broccoli florets and some stems
- 1/2 cup diced scallions
- 1/2 red onion diced
- 1 lb. Bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 cup cashews (pieces in can)
Preparation
Step 1
Add onions to broccoli pieces. Mix mayo, sugar, vinegar, and raisins together. Add to broccoli and scallions. Refrigerate overnight. Add nuts and bacon just before serving.
