STRAWBERRY AND MACAROON ICE CREAM BOMBE

Preparation

Step 1

To make homemade macaroons mix 1 c (8 oz) almond paste, 1/4 sugar and 1/8 tsp salt in electric mixer about 1 minute. Then add 2 large egg whites and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Drop teaspons of the mixture on a parchment lines baking sheet and bake at preheated 350 degree oven for about 14 minutes until they begin to brown. Remove and let cool 5 minutes then plass on wire rack to cool completly. Meanwhile take a celophone lined glass bowl and put 1.4 pints strawberryt ice cream and press into sides. After then have cooled completey, add macaroons and press in, then add another 1.5 pints ice cream and freeze. Top with starberries that have been sliced and mascerated with sugar. WE TRIED THIS 5/12 AND EVERYONE LOVED IT.
