Cherry almond focaccia

Ingredients

  • Master sweet dough recipe.
  • 3 tblsp olive oil,dvd
  • 2 cups drained, pitted moreelo cherries, 1 cup syrup reserved
  • 3 tblsp granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup sliced almond
  • 1/3 cup raw sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Punch down dough. Pour 1 tblsp olive oil into a rimmed baking sheet. Cover and let raise 45-50 minutes. Bring sugar and syrup to boil to rduce to 1/3 cup. 8-10 minutes. Dimple dough, drizzle with remaining oil. Scatter the cherries over and drizzle with sugar. Sprinkle with almonds. Let rise till double, 20 minutes. Bake@350* for 20-25 minutes.
