Rum cake

Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 small pkg vanilla instant pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup white rum
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp light Karo syrup
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all cake ingredients with an electric mixer and pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour at 325.
Bring glaze ingredients except rum to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat then add rum. Poke holes in cake and pour glaze over warm cake.
