Ingredients
- 2 lbs asparagus
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 lemon, scrubbed
- coarse salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- This dish will turn out best with thinner spears. If you cannot find thin spears make sure to peel thicker ones.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400.
Toss asparagus with olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Slice lemon very thin and layer on a baking sheet. spread asparagus over top of the lemon and roast for 15 minutes. Aspargus should become tender and just starting to brown.
Serve.
