Ingredients
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 lb fresh snow peas pods
- 1/2 cup diagonally sliced carrots
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oil over medium high heat.
2. Add snow peas and carrots. Sauté 2 minutes
3. Add water chestnuts and chicken broth. Bring to boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes until veges are crisp tender.
5. Combine soy sauce and cornstarch and stir until smooth.
6. Add to vegetable mixture and cook over medium heat until sauce thickens.
