BUTTERSCOTCH CAKE

Ingredients

  • ICING:
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • Mix all together. Pour on an 8 x 8 pan.
  • 2 egg whites
  • Beat till stiff and add 1 cup brown sugar.

Preparation

Step 1

Pour icing mixture over batter and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
