Ingredients
- 1 Head Leaf Lettuce, washed
- 4-6 Slices Bacon
- 1/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Bacon Grease
- 1/8 Cup or more Chopped Green Onions
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Black Pepper
- 2 tsp. Sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Shred lettuce with knife. Fry bacon until crisp, saving grease. Add vinegar and bacon grease, heat through. Add lettuce and onion. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar; heat 1-2 minutes until lettuce is wilted. Top with crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.
