Chocolate Truffle Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plus i tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup ( 1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. Bring heavy cream and unsalted butter to a simmer in a heavy medium sauce pan. Remove from heat. Add semi sweet chocolate and vanilla and whisk until sauce is smooth

NOTE : Can be prepared 2 weeks ahead-cover and chill.Before using rewarm over medium low heat, stirring frequently
