Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) Pkg. Frozen Cut Green Beans
- 2 Tbs. Dry White Wine
- 2 Slices Bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 3/4 tsp. Seasoned Salt
- 1 Cup Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded, divided
- 2 Tbs. Slivered Almonds, toasted
Preparation
Step 1
Toast slivered almonds on a tray at 350 degrees until light brown, 6-10 minutes; set aside. Cook green beans according to package instructions; drain. Stir in wine, bacon, butter, salt and 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Place in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole; cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle remaining cheese and almonds on top; cover. Bake 5 minutes more. Yield: 6 servings.
