Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk or whipping cream
  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • a little corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

melt sugar and evaporated milk - just below a simmer

add chocolate

whisk together to melt

add corn syrup and butter

cook 8 minutes. switch to wooden spoon

add a dash of salt and a bit of vanilla extract
