Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk or whipping cream
- 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
- a little corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp butter

Step 1
melt sugar and evaporated milk - just below a simmer
add chocolate
whisk together to melt
add corn syrup and butter
cook 8 minutes. switch to wooden spoon
add a dash of salt and a bit of vanilla extract
