Basil Butter *

Ingredients

  • 7 Tblsp butter, diced
  • 1 large bunch of fresh basil, leaves torn into pieces
  • 2-3 tbslp lemon juice, strained
  • Salt and Pepper.

Preparation

Step 1

Place the butter in the top of a double boiler or in a heatproof bowl and melt over barely simmering water. Remove the pan from the heat , whisk in the basil and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
