Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- TOPPINGG
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Mix all cake batter ingredients, except for strawberies,until just blended.
3. Spread mixture into a greased 8" square pan.
4. Arrange berries over batter evenly.
5. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over berries.
6. Bake for 35-40 minute and serve warm.
