Date Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz pkg. chopped dates
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 2 1/2 c Rice Krispies
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Preparation

Step 1

Cook dates, sugar, and butter, stirring constantly, until butter is absorbed.
Add nuts if desired.
Pour in Rice Krispies and mix well
Form into small balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Makes about 4 dozen small balls.
