Coconut Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 c basmati rice, rinsed
  • 1 c coconut milk
  • 4 c water (total liquid is 2-1)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • salt
  • 2 cinammon sticks
  • green chilies or whole black pepper corn
  • garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients in pot, boil on low heat till water is evaporated around 20 minutes.
