Pasta Fagioli

Ingredients

  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 T oregano
  • 2 c chicken stock
  • 5 c water
  • 1 t salt
  • 5 small tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 lb ditalini pasta
  • 2 15 oz cans cannellini beans

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion, carrot and celery for 3 min. Add garlic, chile flakes, and oregano and cook 1 min. Add stock and tomatoes and bring to boil. Add pasta and boil uncovered for 9 min. Add beans and cook another 2 min
