Cranberry-Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cranberries, picked and washed
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 apples peeled, cored and diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves

Preparation

Step 1

Place cranberries in a 2-quart saucepan. Add sugar and apples. Cover and place over medium heat. When the cover is hot to the touch, reduce the heat to low and cook for 12 minutes. Stir in the spices. Serve with pork, chicken or turkey.
