Sweet and Sour Chicken Legs

Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 chicken legs (about 5 lbs)
  • 1 8 ounce bottle low calorie Russian dressing
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 10 ounce jar apricot preserves

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse chicken legs; pat dry with paper toweling. Remove skin, if desired. Place close together in a shallow baking pan.
In small bowl combine Russian dressing, soup mix and preserves; blend well. Spread mixture evenly over chicken legs. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours or till chicken is fork tender. Baste chicken occasionally with sauce.
