Seven-Up Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter (room temperature)
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp lemon extract
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup 7-Up

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well; add flour. Then beat in lemon extract and 7-Up.

Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
