Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 Tablespoon instant minced onion
- 2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb mix of shredded Cheddar, fontina, and feta cheese
- 1 1/3 cups cooked macaroni (1 3/4 cups raw)
- Buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Melt butter in a 2-quart skillet over low heat. Stir flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk. Add onion, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted.
Combine cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. and place in 1 1/2 quart greased baking dish. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs. Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.
