Ingredients
- Orange Glaze:
- 3/4 C. Butter, softened
- 1 package (8 Oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 C. Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 C. mashed ripe Bananas
- 1/2 Tea. Vanilla Extract
- 3 C. Flour
- 1/2 Tea. Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tea. Baking Soda
- 1/2 Tea. Salt
- 2 C. chopped Nuts
- 1 C. Confectioner's Sugar
- 3 Tbl. Orange Juice
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350.
Toast the nuts first, then chop.
Cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the bananas and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients, gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in 1 C. of nuts.
Transfer to greased loaf pans. Sprinkle with remaining toasted chop nuts.
Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, big loaf pans or 1 hour for small loaf pans
Drizzle glaze over loafs.
