Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chuck or Round (Cut in Strips)
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 2 cups water (Hot)
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 4 pepper cut in fourths
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat in margarine. Add hot water and bouillon cubes; and simmer for one hour or until meat is tender. Add peppers and cook only until tender, crisp. Thicken with a mixture of water, cornstarch and soy sauce. Serve over hot rice.
