Surprize Cookies

Ingredients

  • 36-40 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • chopped slivered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Spray Pam on Jelly roll pan. Lay crackers on pan. Cook sugar and butter on stove until sugar is melted. Pour over saltines, bake at 450 degrees for 4 minutes. Take out while bubbling, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 2 minutes. Smooth chocolate chips with spatula. Sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate until cool. Break up and store in plastic bags in refrigerator.
