Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, unsifted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp salt (table salt, not Kosher)
  • 2 tea baking powder
  • 6 T cold butter
  • Optional dried fruit or cinnamon chips
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Preparation

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients together, and cut in butter. Add any dried fruit or chips here. Stir milk and egg together, and pour into dry ingredients.

Bake at 425° for 20 minutes on the Pampered Chef stone dish
