Cranberry-Plum Sangria

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles (750ml) dry red wine, such as Pinot Noir
  • 4 c cranberry juice
  • 1/3 c honey
  • 1 lemon, sliced & seeded
  • 6 ripe plums, pitted & sliced
  • 2 c sparkling water, chilled
  • Crushed ice

Preparation

Step 1

1. In 2 large pitchers, mix half of the wine, cranberry juice, honey, & lemons in each & stir until honey dissolves.
2. Add plums & refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.
3. Just before serving, add sparkling water & pour over ice.
